The Most Savvy Tea Community in the USA
Over the past 40 years, I’ve developed an understanding and an appreciation for what tea has done for the people of Asia, and for what tea can do for us right here in our community. Judy and I have decided to take the tea knowledge that we have compiled, and to offer it to the “Tea Community” we are building in our local area. Opening Savvy Tea Gourmet has been intended to create a platform for us to introduce Specialty Tea to our tea community, to inform people about the nuances of regional single garden teas, to broaden our customers’ view of tea and how it can affect their lives, to enrich the lives of our growers, our team, and our customers…our “Tea Community”. By expanding our customers’ understanding of tea we will increase their appreciation for the “Art of Tea”, and start them on a life-long journey of enjoying and benefiting from diverse teas of famous growing regions around the world. In just a few short months, we are experiencing a paradigm shift by many customers that have begun to appreciate the pleasure of single garden teas from white to green, oolong and black teas. Customers are evolving from having a narrow view and understanding to becoming knowledgeable and appreciative of what Specialty Teas have to offer. Much like developing an appreciation for fine wines from famous growing regions, many Savvy Tea Gourmet customers are now opening their minds to choices in their tea drinking, and experiencing rewarding results within the nuances of the teas.
Judy and I have adopted the goal of making our greater community the “Most Savvy Tea Community” in the country, benefiting from what tea has to offer their Health, and Enjoyment, and Quality of Life…through Tea.
